Is this an official SASO or SABER result?
No. This tool is a reference aid built from the product families we work with. It does not connect to the SABER platform or any SASO database, and it is not a conformity assessment. The applicable Technical Regulation and certification route are confirmed at assessment for your exact product.
What if my product is not recognised?
You will see a general result telling you the product is likely regulated and inviting you to send the details. Most products exported to Saudi Arabia fall under a Technical Regulation — send us the product name, HS code and country of manufacture and we will confirm the position at no cost.
Does the HS code decide everything?
The HS code sets the customs classification and points to the likely regulation, but the technical characteristics and intended use of the product also matter. Two products under the same HS code can have different testing requirements, so the code is a starting point, not the full answer.
How accurate is the document list?
It reflects the documents typically required for that product family for a PCoC, plus the shipment documents for an SCoC. Your exact list depends on the regulation edition, whether a factory assessment applies and what usable test evidence you already hold — which is what we check first.
