There is no single price for a SABER certificate. The total is built from a per-model PCoC fee, a per-shipment SCoC fee, product testing (only where valid accredited reports don't already exist — usually the largest and most variable component), a factory audit for some product types, the official SADAD platform fee, and our coordination fee. Frequently Asked Questions
Are these official SASO or SABER prices?
No. Every range in the tool is SASO Saber's own indicative service range for planning, not an official SASO, SABER or Saudi government charge. The only official fee shown is the SADAD platform fee (currently SAR 402.50, subject to change), which the Saudi importer pays through the SABER platform.
Why can't the tool give me one number?
Because product testing — usually the biggest component — depends on the exact product, the applicable Technical Regulation and how many tests it requires, and on whether you already hold valid accredited reports. A single headline figure would be misleading. We give a firm itemised number after a short free assessment.
Why is testing the biggest cost?
Testing must be done at an accredited laboratory against the standards named in the Technical Regulation. The number and type of tests vary widely by product, so testing is the largest and most variable line. Valid existing accredited reports can reduce or remove this cost.
Does this include customs duty and VAT?
No. The tool covers certification cost components only. Customs duty and the 15% Saudi VAT are charged separately at import on the goods' value and are not part of SABER certification.
